Slate Repair

For decades, our customers have relied on our experience and skill in order to extend the life of their slate roofs. If you've been told you need a new roof but cannot do so we may be able to keep you leak free until your budget allows for a complete replacement.

We also offer routine slate maintainance to help get the most life out of your beautiful slate roof.

To limit snow avalanching, we can also install snow guards.

Shingle Repair

Have you been told that, due to poor shingle installation on your relatively new roof, you'll need to get the entire roof replaced? Do you wish to try and extend the life of an older shingle roof?

We offer two levels of Roofing Advice, Guidance, and Consultation services, designed to help homeowners choose the right contractor for the job.

Full Service Roofing Consultation

Let us help you find the best contractor - and then we'll work with that contractor to ensure you receive exactly what was promised, and that the project stays within your budget. Our many years of experience and our rapport with contractors in the Northern New Jersey area have proven time and time again to save our consultation customers time, money and sanity when a full roof replacement is necessary.

Examples of the services provided include:

Complete inspection of your roof, flashings and drainage system
Review of findings with the homeowner
Review of estimates with the homeowner
Guiding homeowners with the choice of a contractor
Inspection of finished work
Reporting findings from inspections with the homeowner

Email and Phone-based Roofing Consultation

Sometimes a full service consultation is not appropriate for certain homeowners or situations. For the homeowner that just needs a second opinion, advice, or high-level guidance, we now offer an email and phone-based consultation service for the low price of $120.00 plus NJ Sales Tax.

How it works:

Email a few photos of the home, along with at least three estimates for your new roofing (and gutters and leaders, if applicable)
Receive an initial opinion and guidance over email or phone (customer preference), based on the photos and estimates received
We will then remain available for up to (2) additional follow-up calls or emails, if desired

Gutter and Leader Service

Gutter and Leader Installation

All gutter installations come with a flashing that will help keep birds, squirrels and other small critters out while limiting water from backing up into the soffit system.

Gutter and Leader Cleaning & Maintenance

Have a slate roof? Do snow avalanches pull your gutters off every winter? We specialize in installing and maintaining gutters when coupled with slate roofs.

We also offer a spring gutter cleaning service that is coupled with roof repair. This cost-effective service has helped many of our customers who have older shingle or slate roofing that requires periodic mintenance.

Realty Inspections

Are you selling or buying a house? For years, our company has been recommended by almost every local real estate agency when the time came for an expert opinion regarding the condition of a roof.

Often times, we are contacted BEFORE a home is fully inspected in order to help determine if major roofing issues exist. This approach has saved many from the costly expenses related to a full home inspection, should major roofing-related issues be found.

Chimney Repair

Sometimes a leaking wall or ceiling is not roof-related. Chimney water leaks can be challenging. We can help you determine if the source of the leakage is due to roofing or flashing, or if it's due to a masonry issue with your chimney.

We also are able to help you with minor concrete pointing and chimney hood installations.
